Dear Mother and Father,
You guys know that I am your biggest fan of all times. There is nothing in the world that I wouldn’t do for you guys, and I know there is nothing in the world that you wouldn’t do for me. That is why I am respectively asking you to consider buying me a Toyota Prius. Just think about how much we would all benefit from getting me this car. I would never be late going to school or commuting anywhere because I could easily hop on the HOV lane without any other passengers in the car besides myself. Not only that, but I would be saving you tons of money on fuel because the Toyota Prius gets 100 miles per gallon. Also, you wouldn’t have to worry about my safety as much because Toyotas are the leading car manufacturer for quality in the world. Toyotas are so convenient they come is all shapes and sizes. They can be roomy yet compact and safe at the same time -(logos)-answers.com-(ethos). Mom I promise you that I will get the weekly groceries, pick up my brothers and sisters from after school activities, and make it home by my curfew. I love you so much and would do anything to have a car that I can move around easily with.
Dear Hassanah Darling,
There was one thing that I agreed with in your letter of consideration which was that I love you very much and would do anything for you. However at this time I can not afford to buy you a car. You completely disregarded the fact that I have seven other children that are in college or need to be put through college. Toyota Priuses cost more than an average car. And since hybrids are a new technology you are prone to more safety hazards of newfound technology, and God knows what could happen. Also, not many mechanics can service the car because the car runs off of an electrical battery, so think of the amount of money it would cost me to fix a car like that. I’m sorry dear but I need to make ends meet not only for you but for the family as well. You say that you will pick up your brothers and sisters and do the grocery shopping, I can assure you that you’d only do it for a couple of weeks then stop. Do you know how I no? Because every one of your brothers and sisters told me the same thing and I fell for it, but not this time. As soon as you get a car you will be with your friends all the time and forget about the family or your family chores. Once you can prove to your father and I that you are worthy of a car then we will take it into consideration. Until then, focus on your school work and get better grades.
Dear Mom and Dad,
Although I highly respect your decision I entreat that you reconsider. You have no idea how serious I am about the promises that I will commit to if given the car. I will even make a deal with you. Once I get the car I will do the weekly grocery shopping and pick up Tom and Jerry from school. If I slack off you can take away my car for as long as you wish and make me go back to taking the bus everyday to school. Mom, I understand that you have a lot of expenses but how about if I worked to help you pay for the car, gas, and future mishaps? I am wholeheartedly willing to do so. I will not be out all the time and if you think I am then I will make a schedule for you so you will never have to worry about my whereabouts. I am even willing to share the car with you and whoever needs the car. Please take me seriously and reconsider. Your consideration is highly appreciated.

Wonderful tone here...very respectful, and I like how you were willing to sacrifice use of the car if you didn't meet your end of the bargain. That very specifically addresses the counterargument. The balance of pathos and logos worked well.
